Meet the Bridge Leisure team
The Bridge Leisure team has more than 100 years combined experience of running some of the biggest holiday and residential parks in the UK, for some of the best known groups.
We have a high level experience of park management, operations, strategy, finance and marketing, ensuring we can provide knowledgeable and practical support for your business.
Andrew Howe – Chief Executive
Andrew has worked in the leisure industry for 16 years, within both independent and plc companies including Talarius PLC, the UK’s largest High Street slot machine operator, and UK caravan park operators Park Resorts. He shaped Sandy Balls Holiday Centre into the UK’s benchmark independent park and developed Park Resort’s lodge strategy. Equally at home on the park or in the boardroom, he expertly bridges the gap between the two.
Simon Williams – Commercial Director
With 20 years’ experience of holiday parks, including at Bourne Leisure’s and Park Resorts’ leading locations, Simon has extensive industry knowledge. He heads the operations of our parks, both owned and managed, and particularly enjoys team development and training, where his track record of inspiring profit and performance is a great asset.
Rachel Mabbs – Head of Marketing
Rachel has worked in the holiday park industry for more than 15 years, working for key UK holiday companies such as Bourne Leisure, BreakFree Holidays and Bridge Leisure. Rachel is a talented marketing professional with creative flair and extensive knowledge of all areas of the full marketing mix with a strong ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, manage agencies, people and control budgets.
Jamie Whitlock – Commercial Manager
Jamie has been providing operational support for holidays parks for more than five years. He joined Bridge Leisure after graduating with a Business & Marketing degree, and recently completed Bridge’s own MINDS development programme. Jamie is Bridge Leisure’s lead contact on operational systems, including park management and point of sale technology.
Ilona Sofer – Marketing Manager
Ilona has worked within the hospitality industry for 24 years working for breweries, hotels, incentives and holiday parks. The roles have included Operational Management, New Business Sales, Account Management and Marketing.
Ilona’s focus with BLM is to manage all marketing opportunities for the Park owners. Her passionate approach to all aspects of the role, ensure that a great understanding is built with the Park owners to assist in growing their business.
